Christine Goerke is poised to become a major star singing Brunnhilde in Die Walkure, beginning in Toronto with the Canadian Opera Company.

Christine Goerke is staking her future, as are four opera houses, on her becoming the top Wagnerian singer of her generation.

The dramatic soprano is donning the corsets and work boots of Brunnhilde in the Canadian Opera Company’s Die Walkure at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts this Saturday.
