The Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona has announced that Anna Netrebko will perform her acclaimed recital “Night and Day” on January 27, 2021.

The soprano, who is also scheduled to appear in concert performances of “Il Trovatore” at the Liceu, will showcase music by Rachmaninov, Rimsky-Korsakov, Tchaikovsky, Bridge, Debussy, Dvořák, Fauré, Leoncavallo, R. Strauss, Charpentier, and Offenbach.

Netrebko has performed the program all over the world at all the major concert and performance venues; this very program was also the one she presented for her Carnegie Hall debut. OperaWire noted that the recital was a “Showcase Of Vibrant Musical Maturity.”

The soprano is expected to perform the recital in Paris, Milan, Stockholm, and Brussels. She is also slated to open the Bolshoi Theatre in her role debut as Elisabetta in “Don Carlo.” She also returns to the Wiener Staatsoper, Bayerische Staatsoper, and Arena di Verona.
