The Mariinsky Theatre has announced that Anna Netrebko and Plácido Domingo will perform in November and December.

The theater noted that Netrebko will appear in performances of “Il Trovatore” on Nov. 29 and “Eugene Onegin” on Dec. 7, while Domingo will perform in “Nabucco” on Dec. 10. Valery Gergiev will conduct on all three evenings.

The performance of “Onegin” will be performed following a cancelation in September and marks Netrebko’s debut in the role of Tatiana in St. Petersburg. The production will star Alexei Markov in the title role with Ekaterina Semenchuk as Olga, Sergei Skorokhodov as Lensky and Mikhail Petrenko as Gremin.

Netrebko will reprise her Leonora in “Il Trovatore” in a production she premiered in 2013. The production will star Ekaterina Semenchuk as Azucena, Vladislav Sulimsky as  Conte di Luna, and Yusif Eyvazov as Manrico.

Domingo is set to star alongside Tatiana Serjan, Ekaterina Semenchuk, Sergei Skorokhodov, and Mikhail Petrenko.
