Talise Trevigne, Marina Costa-Jackson, Wei Wu & John Moore Lead Lyric Opera of Kansas City’s 2021-22 Season

The Lyric Opera of Kansas City has announced its 2021-22 season featuring four productions.

The season opens with “Lyric Opera Goes to Hollywood” which will feature famous arias and instrumental moments included in films like “Pretty Woman,” “Mission Impossible,” and “Up.” Talise Trevigne, Ginger Costa-Jackson, Limmie Pulliam, and Edward Parks will be the soloists with David Charles Abell conducting.

Performance Dates: Nov. 13 & 14, 2021

Aubrey Odle, Peter Morgan, Keith Klein, and Wayd Odle lead “Amahl and the Night Visitors” in time for the holiday season. Shawna Lucey directs, while Piotr Wisniewski conducts.

Performance Dates: Dec. 2-12, 2021

John Moore, Sarah Larsen, Bille Bruley, Madison Leonard, and Wei Wu lead Mason Bates and Mark Campbell’sThe (R)evolution of Steve Jobs” in a production by Tomer Zvulun. Michael Christie conducts.

Performance Dates: March 11-13, 2022

Marina Costa-Jackson sings teh title role of Puccini’s “Tosca” with Robert Watson and Aleksey Bogdanov. Ryan McAdams conducts the production by legendary soprano Carol Vaness.
