Bayerische Staatsoper to Continue Protective Measures Against COVID-19

By Francisco Salazar
The Bayerische Staatsoper announced that it will continue to keep its strict regulations in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19

The company noted that even though protection measures in Bavaria have been relaxed, it has decided not to make any changes to its safety rules.

The company noted that masks will still be required in the entire building and that either proof of vaccination, a negative COVID test, or proof of recovery will still be checked at the entrance of the hall.

The Bayerische Staatsoper added that it wants its patrons to continue to feel safe and as a result will survey audience members to see when they feel comfortable lifting the protection measures.

This month the company is set to revive a production of “Turandot” and “Tosca.”
